Coping With Difficult People

i volunteer at an animal shelter. i LOVE working with people and helpping them find the right cat. (i work with cats) i am young (19) and have been going there for about 6 months now. there is a woman there who has been volunteering for a very long time and about 50ish years old. Everytime someone comes in and asks me about the cats, she butts in and pretty much "steals" the people away from me. while i am working with them, she is quick to disagree with me.

for instance, i went in at noon today and stayed for 6 hours. by then i had a good feel of how most of the cats were doing that day. one decided to be a trouble maker today….when i was telling a potentail adopter about his behavior..the lady was quick to butts in and be like " no no no, you got it alll wrong etc. etc."
this was about 6 oclock..and she just came in 20 minutes prior. how do i deal with her "know-it-all" attitude

I work harder than anybody i know.
My emotional drive to succed reaches a soaring high,
Yet, i always get the difficult path with everything. Why why me?
I always feel this way. I am so depressed.
Umm trying anything less than my best doesn’t do the job either.

& Feeling better about getting harder paths in life, isn’t going to solve anything.
Positive minds here people, or un-realistic mind sets. Either one doesn’t sound to great to me.
