Hostage negotiator shares his conflict resolution tips on film at Lifetree Café this Sunday, December 20, at 7:00 pm and Tuesday, December 22, 2009 at 12 noon and 7:00 pm The Lifetree event will offer suggestions for dealing with difficult people in everyday situations. Lifetree spokesperson Craig Cable said, The program provides practical help to diffuse conflict with others at home, in the workplace, at school, and elsewhere. Cable said, Though few people ever have to negotiate a hostage crisis, the police who handle these situations have discovered some approaches that can help anyone in a conflict. The Lifetree film features Lt. Rick Arnold, commander of Lovelands Crisis Negotiation Team.Admission to the 60-minute event is free. Snacks and beverages are available. Lifetree Café is located in Loveland at 1515 Cascade Ave. (the east end of the Group Publishing building, at the corner of West Eisenhower and Cascade Avenue.) Come join in the conversation.
