Out of these three, what is the best speech topic?

Posted By: admin  //  Category: dealing with difficult people

The speech topic has to be along the lines of a challenge we face.

I’m considering….

1. The challenge of overcoming jealousy
2. The challenge of overcoming bed wetting
3. The challenge of dealing with difficult people.

What topic would interest you the most?

People tell me I have issues, and that I need professional help because of the books I read, are they right?

Posted By: admin  //  Category: dealing with difficult people

In the last few months a lot of people have criticized me for the books they see me reading. I’m always reading when I’m at the lobby, during a lunch break, at the car wash, and people seem to have a problem with the books I read. In the last few months, these are the books I’ve read:

-How Come That Idiot’s Rich and I’m Not? by Robert Shemin

-Why We Want You to Be Rich : Two Men - One Message by Donald Trump and Robert T. Kiyosaki

-Trump : The Best Real Estate Advice I Ever Received by Donald J. Trump

-Perfect Phrases for dealing with diffdifficult people by Susan F. Benjamin

-Rich Dad, Poor Dad by Robert T. Kiyosaki

-The Ferengi Rules of Acquisition by IRA Steven Behr.

-What the Bible Says about Money by Lisa Harris

-Thou Shall Prosper : Ten Commandments for Making Money by Rabbi Daniel Lapin

Besides my part-time teaching jobs, I opened my own business a few months ago, I like reading these kinds of books. Several people have pointed out "I have issues", that it’s not normal for a person to read these kinds of books.

Are they that bad???

It’s been nearly 7 weeks since I gave up smoking and while the physical cravings have gone, I’m finding it hard at times dealing with difficult people or situations at work.
If something goes wrong I tend to get very grumpy about it and am worried that will affect my chances of promotion or another job in same workplace.
What are some tips on dealing with annoyances and irritability in the workplace?
