Remember, nothing I say in my poetry or writings is truth. All my poetry is designed to help you discover the truth within yourself. Some poetry contains the ancient wisdom of Eastern Philosophy, specifically Tao, Zen, Buddha, Tantra, and Osho. Other poetry is emotionally driven and is simply there to express my emotions in a healthy creative way which is inspired by 2pac. I do not promote violence and hate, I promote peace. But in the same token, I am not too ignorant to know that violence and hate does not exist within each individual, even the most spiritual individual’s.

I basically know that the sun is beautiful but I do not forget about the rain. And I know that there is also much beauty in the rain, not just the sun. So I express the good and the bad. All my poetry on YouTube is original writings by me expressed very informally, explicitly, and at times explosively. The wisdom in my book Artistic Wisdom is the formal expression of my wisdom, designed for the intellectuals, the people that think they are too brilliant to listen to the beautiful basic language of hip-hop. I have roughly organized my poetry into different categories in my playlists, but that is very difficult to do because my poetry is just life, I express life.

People are becoming more aware about autism and its affects on children, but there is still a huge deficit of knowledge. This gap even exists in the scientific and health communities as new studies and research prove and disprove long-held beliefs about the disorder and even call into question vaccines and other potential causes of autism.

In recent years, high profile people like Jenny McCarthy have stepped forward to further the conversation about autism spectrum disorders. As the spokesperson for TACA (Talk About Curing Autism), McCarthy has been able to bring autism into the spotlight so that other parents with autistic children will have an easier time coping and helping their kids flourish.

It is with this same spirit of trailblazing activism that Ida Schuman took her own steps to address the hardships of raising on autistic child. Life in the small, unincorporated town of Dime Box, Texas was difficult for the Schumans as they tried to find the resources they needed to care for their son. They made the admirable decision to take the groundwork they laid for their own family and start a resource center at the Dime Box ISD Library, which is also the public library.

Taking this step places Dime Box well ahead of many other towns in the area, including the larger ones that probably have a greater number of autistic children, and therefore a greater need for something like this center. Ida’s work, and the work of those she rallied to the cause, will serve all of the families, teachers, and even students with the tools and information they need.
