Why does everyone have issues holding their morals these days?

Posted By: admin  //  Category: coping with difficult people

I was reading the news today and came across a headline speaking about this billboard that had been placed on the side of a hotel with a half naked lady saying "life is too short, have an affair".

I want to know why on earth people think so little about morals these days! It seems the focus on everyone’s mind is themselves, sex, fashion and money! Dont people think there is more to life than those things?

It is so difficult for people to stay in commited relationship when they have billboards of half naked people hanging up enticing their parnters to forget about them! Then people wonder why there are so many failed marriages.

I just want to know if people feel the same.
Am I the only one that feels this way?
How do people cope with this in relationships?
and
Why do some people feel the urge to follow what the media entices them to do?

i realise this is a difficult question and i can understand if people dont want to answer because its hard.

this question has a few parts to it!
do you ever get over losing a child?whats the best that can happen in that situation, coming to terms with it?or can you get over it completely in time?doesit scar your relationships with other people?
whats worse ,the child dying or rejecting you unfairly, for life?
is it easier to cope with the death of your child or utter lifelong rejection ,through nothing the mum has done.
Which one is easier to get over and less damaging to the mum?

Ok, so me and my girlfriend have split permanently, any tips on coping with it?

Posted By: admin  //  Category: coping with difficult people

Basically, we were very close. We had talked about a lot of things; marriage, children etc. But, issues came between us and she called it off. We talked of holding out for a while, but now she’s decided it’s over for good and would like to stay friends.

Because I’ve only had two relationships, both ending on very different circumstances, I’m still pretty new to splits. My previous split with a lot of venom, (she cheated and other stuff) so grievances weren’t much of an issue. I was more upset that she betrayed me than the split itself.

Whereas, my current split ended because we both had bad experiences previously and it came between us. However, we’re both still madly in love with each other, but in hindsight it is probably for the best.

But because there are still feelings and no chance of going back, I’m really finding it difficult. People suggest I go and mix it up with friends, but I don’t have many. Most moved on a while ago and others are too busy to see often. I feel pretty much alone in this.. :(
